Split lighting: Split lighting is when light is cast on one side of the subject's face, creating a shadow on the other side and creating a split.
Rim lighting: Rim lighting is when light is behind the subject and creates a sort of halo around their head. Rembrandt lighting: Rembrandt lighting is similar to split lighting except the light is moved until it creates a triangle shape on one of the cheekbones. Glamour/butterfly lighting: Butterfly lighting is when light is above the subject's head and cast downward. Usually associated with a reflector under the chin. Own creation lighting: The lighting that I created has two lights. One light is faced towards one cheek, while the other is pointed upwards towards the chin. |

Graffiti Series:
These photos were taken in Portland, Oregon. ISO 800 Aperture 5.8 Shutter Speed 250-1000 |
|
Produce Series:
These aesthetic photos were taken inside of the Hazel Dell Fred Myers. The contrast is bumped way up so all features share the spotlight. |

Mousey In A Bucket Series:
This series, taken of my Grandma's cat, Mousey, was mainly taken while Mousey was inside of a water bucket. The other two photos, the odd ones out, were taken in the same carport, but with a differing background. |
